DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE / SPORT MASSAGE

DEEP TISSUE / SPORT MASSAGE is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realiding deep layers of muscle, ligaments and connective tissue(facia). It offers both physical and psychological benefits. It can relieve muscle pain and stiffness and provide stress-relieving relaxation to the body and mind.

DEEP TISSUE / SPORT MASSAGE is best suited for: athletes, runners, people with injuries chronic pain, high blood pressure, muscle injury, muscle, stiffness and tension, bad posture, scar tissue,stress.

It is similar to Swedish massage, but it goes farther and is intended for a different purpose:

  • This is a massage technique primarily used as a therapy for musculoskeletal problems such as sprains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes that target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps break down the scar tissue that forms after an injury and relieve tension in muscles and tissues.

  • In order to reach the deep muscle tissue, a therapist will massage layer by layer of muscle, applying more and more pressure and employing special techniques with the fingers, fists, and maybe even elbows to reach and stretch that deep tissue.

PRENATAL MASSAGE

PRENATAL MASSAGE is performed for mothers who have completed their first trimester and who experience stress and discomfort from the changes taking place in the body. It offers a number of benefits not only for the mother-to-be, but also for the unborn baby. This massage will help you relax by focusing on the most painful areas of the body.

SWEDISH MASSAGE / HOT STONE MASSAGE

  • SWEDISH MASSAGE is one of the most frequently offered massage techniques. Sometimes it is called classic massage. This technique relieves muscle tension and restores your resource state. Swedish massage is gentler than deep tissue massage and is better for people interested in relaxation and stress relief.

    Swedish massage may loosen up tight muscelslcaused by daily activities such as sitting at the computer or exercising. It can be very helpful for people who hold a lot of tension in their lower back, shoulders, neck.

  • HOT STONE MASSAGE is a form of massage therapy that is the same as Swedish massage, but with the addition of heated stones to help achieve deep relaxation. Adding heat to certain areas of the body enhances the feeling of relaxation and peace. Especially recommended for people suffering from fibromyalgia, arthritis or other chronic pain. The penetrating effect of the heated stones allows for a massage without excessive pressure.

    Hot stones for massage are heated to a temperature of 130 to 145 degrees.

    Stones can be located along your spine, on your stomach, on your chest, on your face, on your palms, on your feet and toes.
